I was looking over old entries and found this. Was true a few years ago and is still true now. How depressing.

It is no surprise to me that hardly anyone tells the truth about how the feel. The smart ones keep themselves to themselves for good reason. Why would you want to tell anyone anything that's dear to you? Even when you like them and want nothing more than to be closer than close to them? It's so painful to be next to someone you feel strongly about and know you can't say the things you want to.

Peace.

It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.

As for the times when you're not around, I wouldn't particularly mind it if you were.

Craig, Dr. George Russell

Oct. 8th, 2008 | 10:17 am

DR. GEORGE RUSSELL CRAIG - D.V.M. It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Dr. George Russell Craig at McCall Centre for Continuing Care on Saturday, October 4th 2008. Dr. Craig was welcomed into his eternal home by his son Robert Russell who predeceased his Dad September 2002. Russ, as he was known to everyone, was born in Summerstown, Ontario, right on the St. Lawrence River. He was a Veteran of WWII and served in the R.C.A.F. He graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College of Medicine in 1951. After owning a private Veterinary hospital he became a Director of the Veterinarian Services Branch for the Province of Ontario, retiring in 1981. He was very well respected and looked up to in the field of Veterinary medicine. Dr. Craig is survived by his wife Muriel (McKie), son Charles Craig (Joanne) and daughter Laurie Derbowka (Danny). Missing Granpa and Bompi are Nicole Craig, Christopher Derbowka and Shannon Craig. Missed also by his pals Sweetie and Baby. Russ joins in eternal rest his parents Hugh Arthur and Eva Agnes (Palmer) and his brother Wesley. A private family service will be held. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army or The Toronto Humane Society. Arrangements entrusted to the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 416-231-2283. Over the Sunset Mountains Someday I'll softly go, Into the Arms of Jesus He who has loved me so. Over the Sunset Mountains Heaven awaits for me, Over the Sunset Mountains Jesus, my Saviour, I'll see
